When is the best time to visit the Masai Mara?
The Great Migration typically occurs from July to October, when millions of wildebeest cross the Mara River. However, the Masai Mara offers excellent game viewing year-round. Peak season is July–October (migration), and January–March offers fantastic predator sightings with fewer crowds.
What is included in your safari packages?
Our safari packages include: park entry fees, accommodation (as specified), professional English-speaking guide/driver, transportation in a 4x4 safari vehicle, government taxes/VAT, and full board meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner). International packages also include return flights and transfers.
Do I need travel insurance for my safari?
Yes, we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal belongings. We can assist you in finding suitable coverage. Medical facilities in remote safari areas may be limited, so having evacuation coverage is particularly important.
Do I need a visa to visit Kenya or Tanzania?
Most nationalities require a visa to enter Kenya and Tanzania. Kenya offers online e-visas through eCitizen. Tanzania visas can be obtained on arrival or online. We'll advise you on the specific requirements for your nationality during the booking process. Note: Malaysia offers visa-free entry for Kenyan passport holders!
What should I pack for a safari?
Pack neutral-coloured clothing (khaki, olive, beige), a warm layer for early morning drives, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, binoculars, and a good camera with extra batteries. Avoid bright colours and blue/black clothing which can attract tsetse flies. We'll send you a full packing list upon booking.
Can I customise a safari package?
Absolutely! All our packages can be fully customised — from the number of days and destinations, to accommodation level (budget to luxury), special activities (balloon rides, village visits, cultural experiences), and dietary requirements. Contact us and we'll build your perfect itinerary.
How do I pay for my safari?
We accept bank transfers, M-Pesa (for local clients), and major credit/debit cards. A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due 30 days before departure. All payments are fully secured and receipts are provided immediately.
